To implement the Head Start performance standards in the overall management of the classroom, including promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth, and providing a safe, healthy environment for the enrolled children. | |||

| Qualifications | ||||
| Work hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (M – F) CDA or AS in Early Childhood Education with 12 credits in ECE including coursework related to Infant/Toddler development and/or curriculum preferred; Minimum of High School diploma with a willingness to obtain a CDA within the first year of hire. 1-2 years prior experience working in a classroom setting with infants & toddlers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience building strong parent-teacher relationships. Experience working as part of a teaching team. In-depth knowledge of child development. Health and physical capacity to work in a classroom setting; Ability to pass bi-annual physical exam. Ability to receive clearance from NY State Central Registry | ||||
